The Site Is Live Again

Well. Hello, internet.

This is a sample post so the blog is not an empty room. It is not a diary entry, and it is not about anybody's real day. When there is something actual to say, this file can be replaced.

What is true: alexporter.me is up again, built like a personal site from the years when people tiled the background and called it a night. There is a post, a sidebar, a hit counter that cannot see past this browser, and a cursor trail that would have made a 2001 Pentium ask for a glass of water.

A small original pixel person is dancing in the corner. No cartridge character was invited. They just live here now.

If you can read this box, the stylesheet found the page. Congratulations to both of you.

House rules, taped to the monitor

1. A new entry is a Markdown file with a title, a date, and a short excerpt. That is the whole CMS.
2. The hit counter counts reloads on this computer. It has never met the rest of the world.
3. If the sparkles make the fan spin up, the switch at the bottom of the page turns them off. The dancing stays. Some things are not negotiable.

The drywall is unfinished and the guestbook is a prop. Future posts land on the front page.
